Living Stones Pilgrimages are unique tours of witness and pilgrimage in the service of peace in the region a third of humanity call “The Holy Land.”

Since 1995 Pilgrims of Ibillin has taken groups on two-week pilgrimages to “Meet the Peacemakers” in Israel and Palestine. Led by Pilgrims of Ibillin staff, board members, and local partners in the West Bank and the Galilee, we visit Christians, Muslims, and Jews who are working creatively to plant and nourish the seeds of a just peace. Our tours also include visits to various holy sites and conversations which connect our experiences with our faith.
Our 2027 tour theme will be “Chasing Hope” and will be a solidarity and listening tour. A sample of places we will visit include Jerusalem, Bethlehem, the Galilee region, and an overlook of Gaza in the spirit of compassion and solidarity. We will meet with people working for a just peace in Israel and Palestine to hear their stories and listen in a deep and personal way.
The 2027 leader will be Pilgrims president Brenda Mehos. She has traveled and led tours in Israel/Palestine since 2013. We will use experienced local Palestinian guides in the West Bank and Israel.
