Freshly returned from Palestine and Israel Executive Director Essrea Cherin with Pilgrims of Ibillin board member Tom Scott, Ross Callendar and Burke Enssle who joined a ten day visit to Mar Elias in Ibillin with Archbishop Emeritus Elias Chacour and the West Bank.

While in Palestine and Israel they spent four days each volunteering first at Mar Elias and then at Hope School in Bethlehem. They also had the opportunity to meet with peace partners and to observe the conditions that Palestinians live under in an ever tightening grip of apartheid and crimes against humanity. No Christian or Muslim is spared whether in Israel or the West Bank – life has become unbearable.
