The Webinar Was Not Recorded
Pilgrims of I’billin hosted a presentation by Wi’am’s Usama Nicola.
The US news media gives paltry attention to day-to-day experiences for Palestinians in the West Bank. Neither is any
sort of context offered to help a viewer/listener to fully comprehend the horrific crimes against humanity that continue to be inflicted upon Palestinians both in the West Bank and in Gaza. The situation in the West Bank is dire: tensions, settler violence, and human rights violations are escalating at an alarming pace.
Palestinians face severe and catastrophic crises, deserving urgent attention and action from the international community, us.
Usama is a committed Palestinian civil society activist, serving as the Citizens Diplomacy Project Coordinator at Wi’am: The Palestinian Conflict Transformation Center. Many of you may know Usama as a guide for our Living Stones Pilgrimages.
Please note that at the speaker’s request, this webinar was NOT be recorded; we hope to offer additional programs such as this as it is important to hear from colleagues on-the-ground about what they endure and experience.
