Executive Director Essrea mentions that the campaign to raise funds to build a retaining wall reached its goal in record time, and wishes the students a great year ahead, as the school year has just begun.
The work has begun — construction crews are building the retaining wall that overlookd the Mariam Bawardi Elementary School play yard and thus protecting the children as they play from risk of falling rocks.
