Executive Director Essrea Cherin invites you to join our year-end campaign to raise $70,000 for Mar Elias student scholarships impacted by the COVID19 pandemic.
Rev. Dr. Peter Henry, president of Pilgrims of Ibillin, offers thanks for our new Executive Director, Essrea Cherin and for Branwen Cale, our new development/operations partner. Through the pandemic, we have met new friends and supporters and deepened connections to long-standing partners.
Review of news from 2021 included five Webinars from March to September; a visit by Abuna Chacour to Michigan where Pilgrims of Ibillin began; more than 900 Mar Elias Educational Institution students received scholarships from Pilgrims this year; and the Giving Tuesday campaign on November 30 is planned to raise funds for Abuna Chacour’s latest book on The Beatitudes to be translated to English.
